At left is our traditional fire heated iron. Heat over a gas, wood or coal flame, just hold the iron on its side over the flame for approximately 3 to 5 minutes. With a little practice you will be able to determine the appropriate time needed to heat your iron for each application. |
Electric Irons: Here too, you'll have a choice of bronze or our bronze/stainless steel combo, depending on your needs. The heating element of choice for our standard 2" x 2" branding head is 350w. The complete iron comes with a 10 ft, 16 ga. grounded 3 wire cord. We use 1/2" stainless steel plate for all irons being use on food preparations. Engraving: All Brandish irons are deep cut into bronze or stainless steel. We engrave to an approx. 3/32" depth and mill down any potential problematic background burn areas to ensure the cleanest brands around. Art Alterations: Brandish Branding Irons has a graphic artist on staff to help you with any design problems and to answer your design questions. There will be a minimum charge, at our artist discretion, for any involved design alteration. |
